Sheet Masks 101: Vitamin C, Centella or Hyaluronic Acid – Which One Is Right for You?

Sheet masks are one of the easiest ways to give your skin a little extra care. Fifteen minutes, no mess, and your skin feels soft and refreshed afterwards. But which one should you pick? Here's a simple guide.

Vitamin C – for a fresh, radiant look

Choose Vitamin C when your skin looks tired or dull, for example after a long week or a late night. It's a great pick before an event when you want a fresh, glowing look.

Centella – for calm, comfortable skin

Centella asiatica is known for its soothing feel. Pick it when your skin feels stressed or a little sensitive, for example after sun, wind or a change of season.

Hyaluronic Acid – for deep hydration

Hyaluronic acid helps skin hold on to moisture. It's the one to reach for when your skin feels dry or tight – especially in winter or after flying.

How to use a sheet mask

  1. Cleanse your face and pat it dry.
  2. Unfold the mask and smooth it over your face.
  3. Relax for 15–20 minutes.
  4. Remove the mask and massage the leftover serum into your skin – no need to rinse.

Tips for the best result

  • Use a mask 1–3 times a week – it's a perfect Sunday ritual.
  • Not sure which one? Mix and alternate depending on how your skin feels that day.
  • Do a patch test first if you have sensitive skin.
